Remarks:
A new site was acquired in 1898.
Keepers:
Thomas I. Mulford was appointed keeper in 1856. It is unknown when he left.
John Lawrence was appointed keeper in 1872 and left in 1873.
Elijah M. Bennett was appointed keeper on 1 JUL 1873 and died on 19 JAN 1887.
John S. Edwards was appointed keeper on 3 MAR 1887 and left the service in 1915.
Robert L. Howell was the acting keeper in 1915.
