Remarks:
Station occupied a portion of the Lighthouse reservation under a permit dated 10 July 1884. Prior to this apparently station while occupying the same site had no permit to do so. Name changed to Willapa Bay.
Keepers:
George H. Johnson was appointed keeper on 1 November 1877 and died on 3 May 1881.
Albert T. Stream was appointed keeper on 7 June 1881 and resigned on 12 May 1884.
John Brown was appointed keeper on 15 April 1884 and resigned for physical reasons on 31 August 1910.
Herman Winbeck was appointed keeper on 5 August 1910 and was still serving in 1929.
