Remarks:
It is not known when this station was built on the "north side of Fishers Island, west shore of East Harbor." In 1916, the launching facilities were extensively improved. The station is listed in 1940 as being active, but does not appear in the 1945 listings.
Keepers:
The first keeper was Edward Sisson (reassigned from the Sandy Point station on October 3, 1904) who served until his resignation on July 19, 1911. He was followed by Arthur L. Lanphere (July 14, 1911 until his reassignment to the Narragansett station on July 10, 1917), Millard H. Holland (died on December 29, 1918 while serving in an acting capacity), Amos E. Broadmeadow (acting until his appointment on January 23, 1919 and reassigned to the Watch Hill station on May 18, 1920), Clarence E. Peckham (reassigned from the Sandy Point station on May 18, 1920, he went to the Office of the Fourth District on December 3, 1935), and Edgar F. Sanborn (commissioned on May 10, 1935 and reassigned from the Watch Hill station on December 2, 1935, he went to the Boston District Office on February 27, 1939).
