Keepers:
John Burton Whealton was appointed on DEC 26, 1879. He was transferred to Wallop’s Beach on MAR 13, 1884.
James A. D. Savage was appointed on MAR 13, 1884. On OCT 30, 1908 he resigned for physical reasons.
John W. Richardson was appointed on OCT 26, 1908 and left the service in 1915.
Henry W. Cobb was appointed on 1915 and was still serving in 1915.
Remarks:
Sites 1 through 4 donated to Commonwealth of Virginia in 1957. Five sites were used for this station---5 owned by U.S., 1 leased by the U.S..
