CUTTER WEAPONS TRAINING (FOR RELEASE) JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (Apr. 26, 2005) The 76mm gun aboard the Coast Guard Cutter Gallatin fires a three-round burst during a live-fire exercise off the coast of Mayport, Fla., April 26, 2005. The MK 75 can fire up to 80 rounds a minute and has a range of approximately 10 nautical miles. The Gallatin is a 378-foot cutter homeported in Charleston, S.C. and is in Mayport for Tailored Annual Cutter Training (TACT). U.S. Coast Guard photo by PA3 Bobby Nash.
