2012 - CGC Rush with China Fishery Law Enforcement Command Vessel
The Coast Guard Cutter Rush and a China Fishery Law Enforcement Command vessel sail together while the respective crews meet together in order to transfer the custody of the suspected high seas drift net fishing vessel Da Cheng in the North Pacific Ocean Aug. 14, 2012. As the only U.S. agency with the infrastructure and authority to project law enforcement presence throughout the 3.36 million square mile U.S. Exclusive Economic Zone and in key areas of the high seas, the Coast Guard is the lead U.S. agency for at-sea enforcement of living marine resource laws.
